The Your Orbs page shows the current readiness, activity, and attention state of every Orb deployed at your organization. Use it to check whether an Orb is ready for verifications, or review recent activity.
Viewing your Orbs
In the Enterprise Portal, select Your Orbs from the sidebar.
At the top of the page, you can see how many of your Orbs are:
- Ready to verify
-
Offline
The table shows the following information for each Orb:
- Name
- Location
- Network
- Uptime
- Verifications completed in the last 24 hours
- Status
The status is shown as Ready to verify, Needs attention, or Offline.
You can copy an Orb's name from the list when you need to share it with Support.
Reviewing Orbs that need attention
When one or more Orbs need attention, a banner appears above the list. Select Show to see the affected Orbs and the specific attention state for each one.
| Attention state | What it means | What to do |
| Update required | New Orb software is available and it will update automatically. | Select Details to view additional information about the automatic update. |
| Orb health degraded | The Orb may experience issues performing verifications, and some attempts may fail. | Select View to see the reason and review the verification logs. |
| Orb disabled | The Orb cannot be used for verifications until it is re-enabled. | Select View to see the available details. |
| Orb not ready | The Orb is not currently ready for verifications. | Select View to see the available details. |
For degraded, disabled, or not-ready states, the detail panel may show a reason and let you know that our team is already investigating. If the issue persists, select Contact support.
Viewing an Orb's details
Open an Orb's detail panel from the list to see:
- Location
- Connected network
- Volume
- Total verifications
- Verification logs
You can adjust the Orb's volume from this panel.
Checking total verifications
Select Total verifications to view the number of verifications completed by that Orb and a chart of activity over time. Use the date filter to view activity for:
- Today
- 1 week
- 1 month
- 1 year
Reviewing verification logs
|
|
|
Select Verification logs to review failed Orb verification attempt and failed enrollment attempts, including the date and time of each attempt.
Open a failed Orb verification attempt to see which parts succeeded or failed. The panel can show the preflight, capture, and sign-up statuses, among others, followed by the enrollment status.
A failed enrollment can appear separately even when the preceding verification stages were successful. This helps distinguish a verification-stage failure from an enrollment failure.
Receiving automatic Orb software updates
The Orb's detail panel shows the scheduled auto-update date. Select Details to check whether the Orb has an internet connection and sufficient battery.
If either requirement is missing, reconnect the Orb to the internet or connect its charger before the scheduled update. When the requirements are met, the software updates automatically on or after the date shown.
